its been a while since I haven’t blogged, been really busy @ work. I am heading out the DNC on Saturday and will be doing some video blog so that should be interesting, so many things are happening in Denver that I feel I need to docoment my own story, I just found our right now that Rage Against the Machine will play in Denver on Aug 27th the same day the non profit I work for will be having its event, what a bummer.

This weekend was great, it was full of soccer action, saturday afternoon I went to the Homeless US Cup the tournament was also promoting  Kinking it
a new film about a the Homeless World Cup. On Sunday I went to go see the LA Galaxy vs DC United at RFK Stadium,it was horrible LA lost 4-1 not sure what else to say besides the fact that it was very disappointing, after the game I headed down to the ESPN Zone in DC to catch the Euro Cup Final with Germany vs Spain, that was cool and fun to was Spain become Champions.

So on saturday I was invited to attend the NALEO conference with Obama and McCain. When we arrived at the Renaissance Hotel, Code Pink was outside protesting the war, it was a very small group of maybe four women with signs and pink gear.Unfortunally we arrived late so secret service would no longer let us in, so our only option was to sign up for a media pass and go to the overflow where they had a live feed, while filling the paper work we hear the doors open to conference room and a lady screaming at McCain, check the video and see for yourself what happen.

Most people will say that it was inappropriate behavior what this protester did and maybe not the time or place but the crowds reaction is sad, her message is not wrong what’s wrong is that people are dying in Iraq everyday and we continue to just sit here and listen to people argue on what to do, in other words we are doing NOTHING!

I know this sounds chezzy but a couple of weeks ago I was in Denver Colorado, the home of the Democract National Convention. I was there for a fourm with Azteca America and Voto Latino, I got to meet a lot of cool people but the coolest one was Mrs Alexandra Gallardo-Rooker shes a “Superdelegate” from California I thought this was super cool since you don’t get to meet a Superdelegate everyday.

After months of waiting for this project to be completed, its finally done,(well almost done). I starting working on this site on my free time when I was in LA and now that I have finally join the Voto Latino team it was just the perfect time to finish it and make it live. www.votolatino.org Check it out!

One good thing about being in the east coast is that I don’t have to drive a car and put expensive gas every week. I use the subway everyday so I guess I can officially say I’ve gone GREEN = ] I also enjoy the fact that I can sit and relax and not be stress out about traffic, I can sketch some ideas, read a book or actually listen to my iphone something I rarely did back home cuz I had the car stereo or the computer anyways not sure how much gas is in Cali right now but I’m sure its really high, took a photo of the gas station down the street, so you can compare prices.

I took a little trip to Denver Colorado, I was getting a tour of the location for the VL DNC event. While driving to the location I seen this shiny building, right away I knew it had to be the work of Frank Gehry. After I was done with work I took a trip to this location, it was the Denver Art Museum, so I took some pix’s of it so check it out.
